Introduction !
Gastroenteritis is one of the most prevalent infectious diseases reported, particularly among children. It is estimated that there are 685 million cases worldwide, with 200 million cases and 20,000 deaths per year among children. Gastroenteritis, often known as stomach flu, is an inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, basically, it is where the foods we ate passed through and it affects the organs such as the stomach, colon, and small and large intestines. Moreover, the aforementioned infectious disease is caused by a virus, mainly rotavirus and norovirus. The disease is common in third-world countries and that includes the Philippines.As gastroenteritis affects millions of people every year, nursing students from Chinese General Hospital Colleges have founded an advocacy organization in October 2022 named: The Style of Living and Gastroenteritis Awareness. The members that will make this advocacy a success are Ericha Jane Cardel, Alfea Cruz, Catherine Co, Blesslyn Gael Dela Peña, Jelena Bianca Recto, and Cedric Velayo. In this advocacy it provides all the necessary information about Gastroenteritis that can help everyone to be aware of this kind of disease. In a form of Facebook page, all of the information and scope of this advocacy will be posted.

Purpose of the Advocacy !
The main objective of this advocacy is to increase public knowledge of gastroenteritis by defining it, outlining its symptoms, providing information on what to do if you have it, what to avoid if you do, and what you can do to prevent it. Basically, you need to know what it is.
